Charles Michael Clark

Charles M. Clark November 17, 1942 ~ March 9, 2026 Charles “Chuck” M. Clark passed away peacefully in Eatonton, Georgia. Chuck was born in Lakewood, New Jersey to Charles M. Clark and Viola (White) Clark, and lived in Lakehurst, New Jersey most all his life. He is predeceased by his brother Vincent “Bud” Clark, and sister Lenora (Clark) Baranyay, his niece Lenora “Suzie” (Baranyay) Brennan, his grandson Adam Lowe Jr., and his son in law Adam Lowe Sr. Chuck’s niece and nephews: Timothy Baranyay, James Baranyay, Lenora “Suzie” (Baranyay) Brennan, and Matthew Baranyay were more like brothers and sister to him – where the escapades and memories are told involving fast cars, tough rearing, and laughs that will be echoed until the end of time by all generations that follow. Chuck had two children with Irene (Greene) Brobst; a son Charles M. Clark, and daughter Shelly (Clark) Lowe, and five (5) grandchildren; Ashley Clark, Tiffany Clark, Adam Lowe Jr. (predeceased), Amber (Lowe) Klebacher and Austin Lowe, and (6) great grandchildren, all of whom he was so very proud of, and took every opportunity to say so each moment of time spent together. In Georgia, Chuck spent over 25 “Golden Years” with Claire (Flynn) Way whom he absolutely adored and admired, and their interaction was always entertaining! Those that know Chuck and Claire, can imagine these special years included a lot of laughs, golf, building and fixing things, and plenty of continued comradery with those friends and acquaintances they met along the way. Having worked in the automobile industry, construction, and building maintenance, Chuck touched the lives of countless outside of his family. However, golf was his “passion.” Of particulate note, Chuck was filled with great pride and joy in his work while also having fun, as a Golf Professional at the Ocean Acres Country Club on the “Arnold Palmer Staff.” He was so proud and honored when Palmer’s personal club builder would call him when he had special orders. Those years were special to him – by day, he’d work at the Club giving lessons, and by night, he would be in the basement, making and fixing clubs! He simply loved it all. He was always willing to lend a hand, advice, and even a golf lesson to anyone who was interested in improving their “game” – long live the Lakehurst “Blitz” and those dear friends of his who were and are still a part of it! Chuck Clark will be dearly missed and thought of often by all of those whose lives he impacted. Chuck will be prepared by Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton, 306 North Jefferson Avenue, Eatonton, Georgia 31024. A private celebration of life will be scheduled by the family.
