Emily Frances Poole

November 8, 1923 - April 11, 2017

Mrs. Emily Frances Poole departed this world Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 at the home of Debbie and Richard Huff. Memorial Services will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Eatonton Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the service time. One of 13 children, Frances was born to John and Emily Smith Poole on November 8, 1923. She was known by her church members as “Sister Frances” but those closest to her as “Fannie”. She Graduated from Eatonton High School in 1941. After graduation she took a business class and worked for J.H. Cardwell& Sons Contractors for over 20 years. She also worked for the Putnam County 4-H Extension Office for 30 years until her retirement. She was a faithful servant of Eatonton Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder. She also prepared the Sunday Bulletin for 34 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Key. She is survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews, and many great great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to Eatonton Presbyterian Church
