Mr. Applegate was born in Dover, NJ on January 13, 1949 to the late George Applegate and the late Leona Riker Applegate. He loved collecting wolves and loved his family and his wife. Mr. Applegate is survived by his wife of 49 years Sylvia Applegate of Eatonton, 5 sons Jerry Applegate, Jr. of Cordelia, Keith Applegate of Gray, Robert Applegate of Eatonton, Michael Applegate of Newnan, and Scott Applegate of Eatonton, daughter Jessica Applegate of Eatonton, as well as 10 grandchildren
